William Du, Founder & CEO
William Du is an asset manager, corporate advisor, venture builder & capitalist, who empowers entrepreneurs to accelerate growth and create value to their organization. He is passionate in sustainable business, actively involved in farming, renewable energy, green finance & climate change issues.
William is the Founder and CEO Ingenious Haus Group (“IHG”), a boutique financial services firm specializing in corporate finance, private equity, wealth management, and investment services for entrepreneurs and business owners since 2004. With an extensive background in asset management, equity financing, corporate restructuring, IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate development, William has played a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of SMEs and corporate ventures.
Beyond SASB and IHG, William serves as a Non-Executive Director of Technology & Telecommunication Acquisition Corporation, a SPAC on NASDAQ. The SPAC recently announced a landmark deal to acquire a Malaysian fintech group, with a combined enterprise value estimated at USD 1.1 billion. Previously, William was the Chairman of Vertu Capital Ltd, an investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange Main Market.

Besides, William is a Realtor (REN 75083) with Polygon Properties Sdn Bhd (Agency Reg. No. E (1) 1714). I specialize in commercial & residential properties in Klang Valley (Malaysia), luxury homes (selective countries) and hotel transactions.
William began his career as a trainee accountant in London before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (“PwC”) Malaysia, specializing in transfer pricing and tax investigations. He later transitioned to Star Cruises Ltd as a senior corporate planning executive before launching his own management consultancy firm in 2004.
William holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire and graduated with First-Class Honours in BA (Hons) Accounting. His MBA thesis, “Acquisition of Midland Bank by HSBC,” was presented at the 19th World Association for Case Method Research & Application Conference in Mannheim, Germany (2002).
William’s contributions to the industry have earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year” award from Inti University Malaysia’s Outstanding Alumni in 2016, commemorating the university’s 30th anniversary.
Sandeep Grewal, COO
Sandeep Grewal is an accomplished entrepreneur and hospitality innovator with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He has successfully developed and built multiple hospitality verticals, ranging from home-sharing networks to 4-star hotels and luxury resorts. His expertise in property investment, hotel management, and business automation has allowed him to create and grow brands that deliver exceptional and customized guest experiences. Many of the properties under his leadership have received top recognition from Agoda, Booking.com, and Hotels.com, a testament to his commitment to excellence.
As the CEO of Alia Hotels, Sandeep has redefined the hospitality industry by introducing "Results as a Service" (RaaS), a business model that enhances operational efficiency and maximizes revenue for hotel owners. Under his leadership, Alia Hotels has achieved remarkable growth, through management services, system implementations, and revenue optimization strategies. His ability to integrate technology-driven solutions into hotel operations has positioned Alia Hotels as a leader in business automation within the hospitality sector.
Prior to Alia Hotels, Sandeep played a key role in building Malaysia's largest home-sharing network, co-founding SubHome Management, a pioneering platform that bridges the gap between short-term rentals and full-scale hotel services. His deep understanding of market segmentation and branding later led him to spearhead the rebuilding and rebranding of an international hotel chain, successfully developing multiple brands catering to different market segments. During the COVID-19 crisis, Sandeep co-founded a platform that enabled hotels to generate revenue through advanced sales, providing critical industry support at a time of unprecedented challenges.
With a Bachelor’s degree from Middlesex University, Sandeep has continuously leveraged his academic background and industry knowledge to drive innovation in hospitality. His vision for operational excellence, revenue management, and guest-centric solutions has allowed him to transform businesses and establish himself as a key figure in the evolving hospitality landscape. Now, he is set to make a significant impact once again, reshaping the future of the hotel industry through innovation and strategic leadership.
David Lai, Chief Sustainability Officer
David Lai is a serial entrepreneur with vast experience in financial services and agriculture business. He is the Managing Director of MartodaBiotech Sdn Bhd, a biotechnology innovator recognised for its flagship MPLUS Black Soldier Fly Bio Organic Fertiliser. Under his direction, Martoda has become a pioneer in circular agriculture, soil regeneration, and carbon-smart farming, enabling farms across Malaysia to achieve international recognition.
David is responsible for the Marina Island Project in Lumut, Perak — a transformative initiative that integrates smart city technologies with eco-tourism principles to create a future-ready, climate-conscious destination.
As CSO, David is responsible for embedding sustainability across every dimension of the project — from urban design and green infrastructure to eco-tourism programming and community well-being. His mandate includes ensuring that the development aligns with global sustainability frameworks while meeting Malaysia’s climate and ESG goals.
Ts. Honwai Sim, Chief Digital Officer
Honwai Sim, is a tech and corporate growth strategist specializing in digital ecosystem planning, including IP development and value engineering for IoT-embedded components, AI-driven solutions, and sustainable technologies. His efforts have been instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives for enterprise customers, including Fortune 500 companies.
He is currently an executive member at MDT Innovations Sdn. Bhd. and is a board member at Boingtech Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a RFID manufacturing company. Sim also has 9 co-inventions patented across multiple countries including Malaysia, SEA countries, UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
He also sits as Industry Advisory Panel for University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and AsiaPacific University (APU)

Dato' Dr. Colin Lee, Medical Advisor
Dato’ Dr. Colin Lee Soon Soo is a renowned Malaysian fertility specialist, medical innovator, and entrepreneur with over four decades of experience in reproductive medicine.
Dr. Lee is the Founder of Alpha IVF Group Berhad, one of Asia’s leading fertility networks, and alsoserves as the Managing Director of KL Wellness City Sdn Bhd, a landmark integrated healthcare and wellness hub in Malaysia. Earlier in his career, he established TMC Life Sciences Berhad, which became the world’s first publicly listed IVF company on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 2005.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Lee has published and presented over 150 scientific papers globally, contributed extensively to the advancement of pre-implantation genetic testing and reproductive genomics, and played a key role in positioning Malaysia as a hub for fertility and medical tourism. His visionary leadership and lifelong dedication to women’s health and medical innovation have earned him numerous accolades, including a Lifetime Achievement Award in Medicine, cementing his reputation as one of the region’s most respected figures in healthcare and biotechnology.
Dr. Lee graduated with an MBBS from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and later obtained his Master of Medicine (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) from the National University of Singapore, followed by a Fellowship with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG, UK). Widely recognised as a pioneer in the field of IVF, genomics, and stem cell research, Dr. Lee has been credited with achieving numerous world-first and regional breakthroughs that have significantly advanced fertility treatment outcomes in Asia, increasing IVF success rates in Malaysia from about 10% in 1994 to around 80% today.
Dato' Dr. Munirah Looi, Transformation Advisor
Dato’ Dr. Munirah Looi is a visionary leader in digital transformation, sustainability, and ecosystem building.
A recognized industry leader, Munirah was a Top Nominee for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2018 and has received multiple accolades, including the Master Entrepreneur Award 2021 (APEA Regional Edition) and 10 Best Inspiring CEOs 2020 (Industry-Era).
In 2022, she was honored with the Distinguished Women Entrepreneur Lifetime Achievement Award by KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific, and in 2023, she was conferred a Doctor of Laws honoris causa by the University of Nottingham for her contributions to industry and society.
Currently, Dr. Munirah is the Regional CEO - SEA and Director of BlueOnion, a profit-for-purpose FinTech company driving sustainability best practices within the financial ecosystem. Prior to her role at BlueOnion, Munirah was the Founder of Brandt Business Services, a digital transformation and customer experience (CX) outsourcing firm, which she successfully led for 21 years before exiting in January 2025.

She serves as a Board Member - Director of MyDIGITAL Corporation, EXCO Committee Member of Malaysia Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (MYCentre4IR), and is also a Board of Trustee for the TunkuAbdul Rahman Foundation, focusing on youth empowerment, education, and leadership development.
Dr. Munirah is a recognized speaker, panelist, and moderator, frequently addressing topics on digital economy, entrepreneurship, women in tech, sustainability, and business transformation. Her thought leadership and ecosystem-building expertise have positioned her as an influential figure in Malaysia’s digital economy and sustainability sectors.
Datuk Michael Kang, Corporate Advisor
Datuk Michael Kang is the Managing Director of SMB Connection Sdn Bhd, and has been involving in the ICT industry, hardware manufacturing, distribution and retail including software business, e-commerce and international trade business since 1985.
A keen promoter of Malaysia’s SME sector, and as the former National President of the SME Association of Malaysia, Datuk Kang has worked tirelessly to develop the SME landscape. He was a member of the digital economic task force where he served to bridge the communication between SMEs and the authorities.

Ir. Chan, Technical Advisor
Ir. Chan Sai Chok is the Managing Director of Perunding Eagles Engineers Sdn, Bhd, (EAGLES), a provider of professional technical design and project management services to a diverse range of industries. covering Road Transportation, Commercial and Residential Buildings and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Ir. Chan is a registered Professional Engineer with more than 35 years of experience in encompassing manufacturing, contracting, research and development, lecturing and consultancy. He has involved in Toll Collection System, Ports and Harbours, Floating City Infrastructure, Tunnel M&E Systems and Traffic Control and Surveillance Systems.
Ir. Chan holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Hons) from Memphis State University, U.S.A. and a Master in Business Administration from University of Bath.
